Besides the Saturday lessons, the school organises activities for pupils and their families. New activities are announced in the WeChat group.
Picture-book session: 奇妙的树叶

Reading a Chinese picture book about autumn together, getting to know different leaves, and turning fallen leaves into an animal of your own. For children from 2–3 years old up to their teens; the whole family is welcome.
Mid-Autumn Festival: 花好月圆

Dragon Boat Festival open day

The school’s open day around the Dragon Boat Festival (端午节): a trial lesson, crafts, and wrapping zongzi (sticky rice in bamboo leaves) together.

Reading three Chinese picture books together (《金太阳银太阳》, 《四季喜欢转圈圈》 and 《朱瑞福的游泳课》), followed by the fruit game 水果蹲 and guessing summer words.

Around Chinese New Year
Practising the basic strokes of Chinese writing with brush and ink, starting from the eight strokes of the character 永 (永字八法), among the red New Year decorations.
New Year performance
Every Chinese New Year our pupils take the stage. Here they sing 《听我说谢谢你》 (“Hear me say thank you”).
